Bad weather: two southern departments on orange alert for thunderstorms and rain-floods
This Friday, Météo-France placed Aude and Hérault on orange “thunderstorm” and “rain-flood” alert
These two departments should experience, at the end of the afternoon, a “rainstorm episode requiring special monitoring due to the intensity of the rains forecast, particularly in the plains and on the coast”.

It is expected that they “erupt in the Gulf of Lion, particularly from the east of Aude to Hérault, on the coast and in the interior”again notes the meteorological institute.
Special monitoring due to the intensity of the forecast rains is announced, particularly in the plains and on the coast. Saturday, in the north-east of Corsica, “significant accumulations are possible which could justify an increase in vigilance”, warns Météo-France.
