The young woman from Melsbroek, in Walloon Brabant, has indeed been hungry since her wife’s car was vandalized last Sunday. At the time of the incident, Megan and her sister were at a barbecue in their neighbors’ garden. A guest who had just left the party then discovered the damage. He then called Megan. “We were shocked and called the police directly. A neighbor who saw everything immediately came forward.”

As if that were not enough, the insurance does not cover the costs since the vehicle is too old. Faced with increasing cases of vandalism, Megan decided to launch a call for witnesses on social networks. “It’s disappointing that I have to do detective work myself to find evidence. The police told us that if we found information, we should notify them. We have the impression of being abandoned.”
The police confirm that a complaint was made and that an investigation had been opened: “For the moment, we do not know whether this was an intentional act or not.”
