Tuesday October 26, the opening of the 17th edition of the “Regards Croisés” exhibition was held in Cavaillé, organized by the l’ en Village association.

Inge Kraemer welcomed the enthusiasm of artists for this event which brought together 59 painters including four sculptors.

In the presence of Mayor Jean-Louis Moign, members of the jury, artists and the public, seven prizes were awarded that evening, four prizes awarded by the jury, the municipality prize and two public prizes.

The painting prize for all techniques was awarded to Christian Bessède for his painting “The First Snows”, followed by Dominique Barbe (Lune bleue sur la Marine) and Pamela Amathieu (Kiosque du parc). The sculpture prize went to Jean Remaury for his work La Mantis Religieuse.

The municipality selected for its prize, Annie Roudet Mongendre for her painting “Los Angeles n° 2). The public selected for the sculpture and painting prize, the painter Emmanuel Cerda for “King of the Stars”.

The evening ended with a friendly drink and musical entertainment.
