The Los Angeles Sheriff's new weapon reaches 320 km/h!

We would have expected to see one in GTA rather than in real life, but here is Sheriff's first Tesla Model S Plaid.

We recently introduced you to UP.FIT, an American company specializing in preparing Teslas for law enforcement, which has developed an intervention Cybertruck. UP.FIT has leveraged its extensive experience to transform a Cybertruck into an impressive peacekeeping weapon…and deterrent! According to the company, the 100% electric pick-up platform has enabled it to establish new standards in terms of safety, efficiency and innovation. The combination of a stainless steel exoskeleton, crossing capabilities associated with real sporting predispositions, and advanced technologies proved to be a blessing when it came to imagining this machine. Although fully operational, this Cybertruck is ultimately only a concept illustrating the company's know-how, but the Tesla Model S Plaid presented at SEMA 2024 is very real!

The “UP.” FIT Plaid Pursuit” incorporates a series of modifications improving its high-speed pursuit and city patrol capabilities. This first vehicle is about to be delivered to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office and marks a milestone in the adoption of electric vehicles by law enforcement agencies.

The car retains its 1,000 horsepower and is still capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in 2 seconds before exceeding 300 km/h. With 600 km of range and class-leading fast charging capabilities, it is an excellent patrol tool. More important than anything, what a fantastic communication tool for the Police! How many children will pull their parents' sleeves when they see the gleaming machine pass by to tell them that later they will be police officers and will drive in a big car like the Sheriff?
