Marseille drug traffickers seem to be spreading their web throughout France. Invited Thursday morning on Sud Radio, the Minister of the Interior Bruno Retailleau affirmed that there was a link between the shooting in Poitiers which occurred last week and drug trafficking in Marseille.
Last Thursday's shooting left one dead and four injured, all minors, in the Vienne prefecture. A suspect has since been arrested, identified as the alleged perpetrator of the shooting. However, according to Bruno Retailleau, “behind this murder, there is the hand of the Marseille mafia.” Still according to the Minister of the Interior, this shooting is linked to “another Marseille clan” than the DZ Mafia, without giving further details.
A meeting with Michel Barnier
Behind Jean-Jacques Bourdin's microphone, Bruno Retailleau also confirms that the murder of young Nicolas in Ardèche is linked this time to the DZ Mafia. Two suspects were arrested in this investigation, one in Vaucluse, the other at a deal point in the northern districts of Marseille.
Bruno Retailleau will travel to Marseille this Friday alongside the Minister of Justice, Didier Migaud, for their first joint visit. As revealed Le Figaro the two ministers will meet Michel Barnier this Thursday, before the presentation on Friday of their plan against organized crime linked to drug trafficking.
