With more than 10 million views on social networks, Fabián's testimony moved Spain. The man was reprimanded by his employer for arriving late after his car was blocked by floodwaters.

In an interview on Spanish , RTVE, Fabián Leal, a Colombian worker explains his story in a video which has accumulated more than 10 million views on X, formerly Twitter.

Arriving for work hours late because of the floods in Spain, his boss gets annoyed and the exchange becomes tense between the two men. Mark specifies that it is not known whether he was fired or not.

In a TikTok, we can hear his boss telling him: “This morning you stayed at home being lazy,” during a muscular exchange between the two men.

His car destroyed in the floods

In a video posted on the social network, this electrician films himself walking to work. A resident of Alfafar, he had to go to Aldaya for a journey of less than thirty minutes in normal times by car. But his car was stranded and destroyed by the floods and public transport no longer runs in the Valencia region. Result after 2h30 of walking, he arrives at 11:40am.

“He's going to fire me if I'm not here, so I don't know if there's a lawyer or someone who can advise me, if there is. Right now I'm walking to see how I I get there, because I need this job, I have no other way to get there.” explains Fabián on social networks.
