A teenager tried to run away from police after a nighttime rodeo, but didn't think about his fuel level.
A teenager from 15 ans was arrested by the gendarmes after a urban rodeo. He tried to flee the police. But he was forced to stop following a breakdown which he didn't expect.
A rodeo that quickly ends up running out of fuel
According to our colleagues at France Bluethis unusual incident took place in the northern district of the commune of Nueil-les-Aubiers. It is a town located in the department of Deux-Sèvres. On Wednesday October 23, 2024, residents alerted the police to the actions of a young person during a rodeo session with his motorcycle.
When the police arrived on site, the 15-year-old teenager did not hesitate for a single second and decided to flee. He didn't even have no helmet. His escape quickly stopped, because he had no not enough fuel in his machine. Forced to stop, the young biker was apprehended by the police without resisting.

At the time of his arrest, the teenager allegedly sent a few ironic words to the police. According to the press release from the Bressuire gendarmerie, here is what he said:
“I would have wheeled away if I had enough gas.”
A casual arrogance with the police

The Friday following this incident, the parents of the young man were summoned with their son at the gendarmerie as part of an official hearing.
