Match: PSG/Atlético lines seen by the Spanish press

Like the French press, the Spanish media generally agree on the PSG/Atlético lineups, clash of the 4th day of the Champions League, even if they have doubts about the Madrid defense and some Parisian players.

Deprived of five players including three central defenders (Gimenez suspended, Le Normand and Azpilicueta injured), Atlético Madrid will appear weakened defensively at the Parc des Princes this Wednesday evening. Like the French press of the day, the Spanish media believe that Diego Simeone will line up a five-man defense against PSG. Marca imagines a 3-4-2-1 when AS, Mundo Deportivo and Sport are counting on a 5-3-2.

Concerning the players, nine players out of eleven are guaranteed to start for Madrid according to the Spanish press. There is obviously Jan Oblak in goal, Molina, Witsel and Lenglet in defense, De Paul, Koke and Barrios in the middle, as well as Griezmann and Alvarez up front. The two remaining places will be played out between Giuliano Simeone, who three out of four Spanish media see starting in a right piston role, Reinildo, Javi Galan and Lino.

Some Spanish media see Fabian Ruiz and Lee starting PSG/Atlético

As for the PSG lineup, the Spanish press generally sees the same starting lineup as the French press, with Donnarumma rather than Safonov in goal and Asensio in place of Lee Kang-in in false nine. A few exceptions however since the Catalan daily Sport imagines the Russian and the Korean starting. AS also sees Lee rather than Asensio and still hesitates between Safonov and Donnarumma.

For its part, Marca sees the Spanish European champion Fabian Ruiz starting as left relay in place of João Neves while Mundo Deportivo sees the Spaniard as left relay, with Vitinha as sentry and João Neves as right relay at the place of Warren Zaire-Emery.
