American intelligence services accuse Moscow of wanting to destabilize the election, while several videos cast doubt on the reliability of the electoral process.

American intelligence services have very officially accused Russia of being « actively » involved in disinformation operations on the eve of the presidential election. The Federal Police (FBI), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (Cisa) noted strong disinformation activity in the seven so-called “pivot” states a few days before the opening of polling stations. « Russia is the most active threat », explain these agencies in a press release published Monday, without ruling out that other countries, notably Iran, are also trying to interfere in the process.
