INFO ACTU LYON. A drama occurred on the TCL network this Tuesday, November 5, around 4 p.m. A man was killed following an accident with a tram on line T3, in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon.
The facts occurred after the Dauphiné-Lacassagne ruling.
The victim allegedly threw himself under the T3 tram
The Rhône firefighters, the Samu, TCL personnel and the national police were dispatched to the site, at 11 rue Jean-Pierre-Lévy, not far from the rue du Dauphiné. The tragedy occurred while the tram was traveling in the Meyzieu – Part-Dieu direction.
The victim threw himself under the T3 tram, according to our information. The intervention is still in progress. “We have no more information regarding the identity of the victim,” we are told by the national police.
Shocked people
Several people, including children, were still present around 5 p.m. They are shocked by the tragedy.
A partial service has been set up on line T3 between Reconnaissance-Balzac and Villeurbanne station. Full resumption of traffic is estimated from 6 p.m.
