Live on its channel, dum_trip summons the spirits in turbo, during a second evening where €900,000 was distributed. Discover the 18 winners and the “cards up” replays.
The entire planet is holding its breath: which president will the Americans pull out of their hat this evening? Even the most gifted divination mage would be hard-pressed to announce a favorite 24 hours before the polls close. Not sure that the results will be known tonight… unlike those of the second evening of Pokus.
18 new winners were crowned Monday evening, for a total of €900,643 distributed very precisely. The most famous of them? The new star of the Stream Gang dum_tripwho celebrates his second Pokus victory live on his channel and releases a new nickname in the process, we'll tell you more about it below. K0eringfor his part, is no longer a member of our esteemed squad of streamers… but he also has a new nickname (Yeolsim) that he reached third place in Event #36, behind mAlAxAmAx.
Record winnings for this “Day 2”: the €13,175 won by tangiematic on the Pegasus 6-max at €50. The multiple Series finalist and Purple winner E. Cantona7 could have beaten this score on the €50 Crystal Ball (a 6-max Monster Stack), but preferred to negotiate with his last opponent to smooth out the prices. “One is worth two,” as they say.
Titled in a PLO event during the January Series, ralex555 will change its logo after a new victory in variants, this happened on Event #43, a Unicorn where High-Low Stud was on the menu. Finally, glory to Whine_Timea true specialist in the fastest tournaments: two weeks after a victory in the Go Fast, he only needed 122 minutes to complete Event #50, a Trident KO at €20 per entry.
A tangible victory
Biggest stack = biggest winner of the night? This is the winning combo tangiematicwho in the final of Event #40 was able to transform his large chip lead into a resounding victory, which earned him no less than €13,175, a good third of which in bounties. This begins by taking care of the case of Sigma Alpaga (7ᵉ, hand #7) with a speculative hand, barely worse than that of COOLatra to show who is the strongest WNMXtheBEST (6ᵉ, #11), then shattering the last hopes of Cassenoasett (5ᵉ, #13). The dolphin also continues to do the dirty work by playing a naughty trick on .Poatan. (4ᵉ, #15), while tangiematic uses very dark magic to cast a spell on Sumatra (3ᵉ, #19). Five eliminations in 19 hands: it's already time for a heads-up which promises to be contested with two players with deep stacks. Starting with a small disadvantage, COOLatra quickly came back to level before briefly becoming chip leader. But everything will ultimately be decided on the first big pot of the duel, at the end of which COOLatra will perhaps regret having slowpaid his pair of Aces preflop… After a long final of 49 hands, this former Afterwork champion, from Mystery KO €20 and from Night Club consoled itself with €8,714.
Event #40 : PEGASUS – 6 Max – KO 50 € – 2,636 entries – prize pool €118,620
Winner: tangiematic – €13,175 (bounties included)
In the middle of dum_trip
For this second evening of Winamax Pokus, final table #47 stood out in more than one way. First by an average of only 6.2 BB, suggesting tense decisions dictated by the ICM. But also by the presence of a certain Gunther Feitalias Adrien Dumontformerly known as dum_trip. Member of the Stream Gang, the one who just gave us a Deepstack interview has not only attracted attention for his status, but also for his aggressive playing style. Unlike his opponents, he did not hesitate for a single moment to take risks and make his magic work to win the whopping €2,463 and a second Winamax Pokus title, all streamed on his Twitch channel.
Event #47 : GRYPHON – 6 Max – Deglingo Rebuys Mystery 5 € – 1,966 entries – Prize pool €20,124
Winner: Gunther Feit – 2 463 € (bounties inclus)
Enchanted variant
Although variants are not every player's favorite format, they have a community of true enthusiasts. ralex555 is one. Ten months after triumphing in a Pot-Limit Omaha tournament during the January Series, this specialist once again distinguished himself in a rare exotic event: the Unicorn Stud High Low. A performance accessible in “cards up” replay, just like the other Pokus finals played this Monday evening.

Leaderboard: a top reg holds the baton
He started the festival with three places in the top 10: the finalist of the last Top Shark Academy (and undisputed leader in our tournaments) Donato alias N. Barella officially takes the lead in the Pokus honorary ranking after a 19th place in Event #34 at €50 per entry. Leader yesterday after his victory on the Sunday Surprise, KwazyCupcake (our colleague Neri from marketing informs us that this is a reference to the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Ninewe will go to bed less stupid) falls to fourth place after a second evening without a significant deep-run. He is preceded by Pit11THE et Mantonio21which were already in the top 10 yesterday. D S & R, AdealWithGod et Marc Dusmic entered the top 10 after acquiring runner-up status on Monday evening (on the €20 Basilik, the €10 Crystal Ball and the €50 Crystal Ball, respectively). Sacred on the Basilik at €50, Chamallooww lands in the top 10 in eighth place, just above a Couscous1 author of five top 100s… but none better than 19th place.
