Jarry admitted to intensive care: he suffers from a disorder which affects 5 to 10 people in 1000!

In an interview given to Happy Sunday show on RTL, Jarry recalled a painful mishap.

Gluten intolerance: an unexpected diagnosis for Jarry

During his show in in front of 800 people, Jarry experienced a nightmare moment. “I did ‘Bonsoir Perpignan’ and I passed out on the people in the front row”he remembered. Worse still, “the stage was 2 meters, I vomited, lost consciousness and woke up in intensive care.”

The diagnosis then falls: Jarry suffers from gluten intolerance, a rare disease which affects only 5 to 10 people out of 1000 in . Unlike a simple allergy, this condition can cause symptoms ranging from bloating to passing out. To avoid any further incidents, the comedian had to ban wheat from his diet.

Obsessive rituals before the stage for the comedian

But the troubles of the former TLMVPSP presenter do not stop there. The artist also revealed that he was the prey of numerous knocks, especially before his performances.

“I make a magic circle”he confided. “From my dressing room to the stage I have to arrive on an even number, otherwise I leave and start again. I must necessarily arrive at an even number with my right leg. Afterwards, I say a little prayer and I summon all my guardian angels.”

These rituals can considerably delay its entry on stage, especially in large rooms where “the lodge is very far away”. Faced with the astonishment of the host Bruno Guillon, Jarry tried to justify himself: “No, but we all do that, right?” receiving a thunderous “No, not al all” in return.

Despite these health challenges, Jarry is preparing to begin a new tour throughout France.

Jarry expresses his fears for the safety of his twins

In a recent interview, Jarry openly shared his concerns about the safety of his 8-year-old twins: “I prefer to keep them away from the spotlight to protect them.” The host, aware of the dangers that fame can cause, made the decision to keep them away from the cameras and social networks. Often the victim of homophobia, he added: “As a parent, I feel a great responsibility. It is crucial to preserve their childhood.” Jarry emphasizes that his choice is motivated by the wish to offer his children a peaceful life, far from pressure and public scrutiny: “I want them to grow up in a safe environment, away from the unwanted attention that can come with my notoriety.”
