The investigation is progressing into the death of Nicolas during the night from Thursday to Friday. A man suspected of being the author of the fatal shot which killed this young Rugby player in front of a nightclub in Saint-Péray, in Ardèche, near Valence, was arrested Monday in Marseille on a deal point.
The alleged perpetrator of the shooting which killed Nicolas, 22, and injured two other people, was arrested in the city of Bricarde, in the northern districts of Marseille, according to consistent police sources. He had been on the run since the tragedy.
The Privas prosecutor's office indicated that it did not wish to communicate at this stage.
The murder of young Nicolas, a year after that of young Thomas, killed during a ball in Crépol in the Drôme, was particularly emotional in their common rugby club, the Rugby Club Romans-Péage, which announced on Monday that it was organizing a march white in his honor on Wednesday.
