There was a transfer of command to the Gendarmerie Company of Mont-de-Marsan (Landes). Squadron Leader Pierre-Yves Tivollier officially takes office
The Mont-de-Marsan gendarmerie company in the Landes was the scene of an official ceremony marking a change of command. In the presence of the chief of staff of the prefect of Landes, elected officials and senior local authorities, Colonel Stéphane Procédès, commander of the Landes departmental gendarmerie group, officially transferred command of the Mont-de-Marsan company to the Squadron Leader Pierre-Yves Tivollier.
Squadron Leader Tivollier received the company pennant from the hands of Colonel Procédès, a symbol of the authority and commitment of the new commander. This solemn moment, in the purest military tradition, marked the end of the mission of his predecessor, Squadron Leader Olivier Borriello, and the formalization of the assumption of command by Pierre-Yves Tivollier.
A solemn and moving moment
The guests were able to witness a taking of arms, a real highlight of this handover. In a climate of respect and discipline, this ceremony took place under the watchful eyes of relatives of the military and official guests.
