The Israeli army said that three rocket attacks from Lebanon were detected around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning towards central Israel, where alarm sirens sounded as far as the Tel Aviv metropolitan area.

Three people were moderately injured, and eight others suffered minor injuries after a “direct impact” of one of the shots on a residential building in the Arab town of Tira, in central Israel, according to emergency services deployed on the scene, relayed by Haaretz.

A few minutes earlier, the Israeli army had said in a statement that two projectiles had been “intercepted” and that an “impact” had probably been detected in this area.
