In an interview with the newspaper “La Provence”, the OM legend admits and explains very clearly that he is in conflict with one of the members of the club close to Mehdi Benatia, namely Ali Zarrak. The reserve coach would not only be in “conflict” with him but would, according to him, suffer a certain form of harassment: “I have a problem with a certain person and I don't hide it. I am a coach and I cannot accept that this person chooses my five substitutes. This can't go on any longer. I can't live like this all my life. »
The conflict between Ali Zarrak and Jean-Pierre Papin even took on another dimension, much more serious, when the former Marseille striker received physical threats. Jean-Pierre Papin was reportedly threatened a few weeks ago when “a motorcycle with two guys on it stopped and they asked me to get out of here,” says the coach. If the OM legend does not know if these threats have a link with the club, Papin now lives with several security cars in front of his house and affirms that this situation is “unbearable to live with”.
