Three dead in an accident at the Heudebouville toll

A fatal accident took place on the morning of Friday November 1, 2024 on the A13 motorway, at the Heudebouville tollbooth (Eure).

Firefighters were called at 6:30 a.m. for a single vehicle that hit a concrete block at the toll barrier at very high speed.

The accident left three victims, three men dying on the spot. Emergency services are still on the scene. Five toll lanes are currently neutralized in the Rouen-Paris direction to facilitate intervention.

The three men declared dead

The two front passengers were “heavily incarcerated” when they arrived, emergency services said. The third man, located in the rear of the vehicle, was able to be extracted by witnesses present on site. Firefighters attempted resuscitation, but this did not save him.

No information on the ages of the victims has yet been released.
