Other members who live between Hérimoncourt and Granada in Spain came close to disaster. “We passed near Valencia on Tuesday morning, the sky was black. The rain started to fall calmly before falling harder and harder. We didn't stop, everyone continued on their way”remembers, Remedios Gilbert.

It was only once they returned to the hotel that they saw the extent of the damage. “If we had left 15 or 30 minutes later, we would surely have been blocked. We were lucky. It’s scary,” she adds.
