William (Jason Thompson) wonders who could have entered Chancellor Communication and published the article on Ashland (Richard Burgi) without their consent. Lily (Christel Khalil) thinks a team member may have taken the lead. She summons a member of the team who confirms that she received an email from William which was in line with the publication. She forwards the email in question to Lily. William was hacked. Lily and William go to Gaines’ room (Jamison Jones), but he left. Lily blames the blow. William suspects Victor and Adam of being behind this leak. To Lily, it makes no sense, because they want to protect Newman Locke.
Sally (Courtney Hope) just read the article on Ashland. She tells Adam (Mark Grossman). He refuses to converse with her. He is expected somewhere. Later, Adam meets Sally at Society. She doesn’t understand his reaction following the publication of the article on Ashland. Appearances can be deceiving, according to Adam.
Gaines reveals the truth to Lily and William in The Young and the Restless
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) is worried about Abby’s absence (Melissa Ordway). The latter is at Devon’s (Bryton James) and Amanda (Michael Morgan). She can no longer cope on her own. The formalities completed, Abby says a moving goodbye to Dominic. She promises to come get him as quickly as she can. Right afterward, Devon remembers a conversation with his late father Neil where he gave him advice about fatherhood.
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) chats with Sharon (Sharon Case) from the article on Ashland. She hoped they would find a way to bury the hatchet. For her, William is attracted to chaos. She still can’t believe Ashland founded her empire on a stolen inheritance. Rey reminds him that the statute of limitations has passed so Ashland cannot be charged criminally, but he could be charged civilly by the beneficiaries of the original will. She wonders how this announcement will impact Victoria’s marriage (Amelia Heinle. Sharon worries about their children. Sharon and Rey decide to go out to a restaurant together that same evening.

Finally, Abby must answer to Ashley and Victor. She explains to them why she entrusted Dominic to Devon. Ashley wonders if it was a good idea to take the baby out of the house. Victor thinks Abby has thought about it and he understands her decision. However, he worries about the consequences on his role as a mother.
Finally, Gaines shows up in William and Lily’s office to tell them that he invited this whole thing in order to destroy them.
