If historic luxury houses continue to carve out the majority of places in the Lyst ranking of the 20 most popular brands on the web, other more recent, less well-known or affordable names, such as Coach, Ralph Lauren, Victoria Beckham or Toteme, access the ranking for the first time.
“Is luxury losing its grip on the Lyst index? ?”
This is the question Lyst is asking about its latest ranking, published in October and looking at developments from the previous quarter.
A true barometer of trends, the Lyst ranking, launched in 2028, identifies the 20 most popular luxury brands on the webamong the 17,000 brands distributed by the London online sales platform and this to its audience of 200 million individuals.
To achieve this, the purchasing habits, online searches and social media engagements and the media coverage are scrutinized.
Instructive surprises
