Saturday afternoon, Deputy Mayor Anne Chwaliszewski had the pleasure of celebrating the Golden Wedding of Jean-Loup LAFOUGE and Françoise ROMÉO, domiciled in Gérardmer – 63 boulevard de la Jamagne.
Let us remember that this emblematic couple from the pearl of the Vosges was married on September 28, 1974 in the Gerôme town hall. It was also in 1974 that they took the reins of La Route Verte located on Boulevard de la Jamagne, just a stone’s throw from the Hôtel Roméo. They will bring the Route Verte to life until 2017, a well-known and recognized establishment which has notably hosted numerous events and associations which held their general meetings or annual meals there, for example. A true haven of conviviality!
Françoise and Jean-Loup had 5 children: Marie-Louise, Hélène, Jean-François, Antoine and Pierre, who gave them the joy of becoming the happy grandparents of 9 grandchildren. A beautiful family who were gathered this Saturday, without forgetting the many friends who were invited to these golden weddings which, after a pleasant aperitif, continued around a famous meal at La Chapelle-devant-Bruyères.
