The members of the jury of the 2024 Imaginales Prizes include, for translated French and foreign novels, Lloyd Chéry, Céline Huchard-Blache, Léonore Periz, and Anne Ruiz. The Imaginales Youth Novel Prize is judged by Jérôme Blanchard, Frédéric Flusin, Florence Gérard, and Nadine Petitjean. The Imaginales Album Prize is awarded by a jury including Corinne Arrouey, Élise Barthélemy, Florent Kieffer, and Sabine Lesur. Finally, the Imaginales Prizes for comics and illustration are awarded by Victor Battaggion, Laurence Grivot, Hubert Prolongeau, Antoine Ruiz, and Olivier Souillé.

Christophe de Jerphanion, deceased, was a juror last year. The festival gave him back a tribute on the occasion of this ceremony, as well as to the author Anne Fakhouri, who died in 2022.

Moreover, Pierre Raufast won the Imaginales des Librarians Prize 2024 novel, for The Baryonic Trilogy, Volume 1 – The Tragedy of the Orc, published At the forges of Vulcain. The prize in the comics category was awarded to Guillaume Singelin, for his album Frontier, published by Rue de Sèvres. Nearly 350 librarians and library professors chose the winners.

The Schoolchildren’s Prize was awarded to Chugakko Academy, volume 1 – The Legend of the Ancestor Dragon, by Nancy Guilbert, published by Didier Jeunesse. The College Students’ Prize was won by Clockwork Angels, book 1 – The Call, by Carina Rozenfeld, published by Gulf Stream. As for the High School Students’ Prize, it was awarded to Livie Morevi and the smugglers of soulsby Nathalie Cirac, published by Forgotten Dreams.

The winners of the Prix Imaginales 2023 understand Sailors don’t know how to swim by Dominique Scali, French-speaking novel prize published by La Peuplade; Down to the earth by Sue Rainsford, translated by Francis Guévremont at Aux Forges de Vulcain, Prize for Translated Foreign Novel, or, in the Youth category, The Dragon and the Funny by Damien Galisson, published by Sarbacane.
