Eric Antoine has added a new string to his bow. He is now in charge of Right price on M6. At the RTL microphone, the host confirmed that a new rule was imposed on the show’s candidates.
The famous game The right price made its big return to M6 on March 11, with a new headliner: host and magician Éric Antoine. Known for his humor and good humorthe presenter therefore found himself at the helm of the show launched at the end of the 80s and whose concept remained faithful to the original. Contestants must always guess the price of items to win gifts. This long-awaited return is, however, accompanied by some new features, notably humorous sequences, making the show even more captivating for the public. Invited this Saturday, May 25 at the microphone ofWe’re doing TV again on RTL, the ex of Calista Sinclair however, made a surprising confession: the production prohibits the participants from having a certain behavior.
Éric Antoine reveals the surprising new rule imposed on candidates of the Right price
In an extract revealed by Tele-LeisureÉric Antoine revealed a new rule imposed by the production of the show : the candidates are no longer allowed to jump for joy on him. Known for his large size and welcoming personality, Éric Antoine was often the target of exuberant displays of joy from participants. However, for security reasons and to avoid any incidents, this practice is now prohibited. “For several years now, people have taken me for a teddy bear. It’s really something that happens to me very often. People on the street stop me and say: ‘Can I give you a hug?’ And there, at Right price, the hug turns into a jump for joy, so they jump on methey think that I am a tree, a eucalyptus, and that they are all koalas!”, he confided with humor.
And added: “I want cuddles, but don’t jump on me. I know that there are animators who don’t want to be touched, that doesn’t pose a problem to me.” he assured, but the host started to have back pain. “He was a 90kg guy! He had won a quad for 15,000 euros and the little ones for his children for 2000 euros each. He jumped into my arms. Plus, we’re at the end of the show and he there are scents. I really hurt there“. A trigger for Eric Antoine, who therefore had to set some limits even if the good atmosphere is always essential on the set of Right price.
