Fallout London’s big 1.02 update with over 1000 fixes is available

Fallout London version 1.02 is now available with several major improvements to the mod, including over 1000 fixes. This update focuses on stability, performance optimization, and fixing bugs that affected quests and other aspects of the game. Since the mod’s initial release, the development team has worked tirelessly to polish experience, largely thanks to feedback from the active community on Discord. Their suggestions helped identify bugs, revise quests, and make necessary improvements.

One of the main goals of this update is to improve the stability and performance of the mod, reducing loading times and frequent crashes. The team also took feedback into the level design, adding clearer visual cues to make complex areas easier to navigate. Floating objects, reported by the community, have been largely fixed, with around 700 elements removed for more consistent immersion. At the same time, more than 200 3D assets have been adjusted to improve game fluidity and reduce collision issues.

One of the big achievements of this update is the resolution of “facegen” issues, which caused distorted faces or incorrect hairstyles for some NPCs and the player. These visual bugs have been largely fixed, with additional optimizations to improve facial textures and character customization options. In addition to these visual fixes, the team has improved the LOD (Level of Detail) system, making environments more consistent and optimized, even from a distance.

The game’s audio content has also been expanded, with nearly 30 music tracks and numerous fixes to sound levels, missing lines of dialogue, and audio effects. The mod also introduces a customizable player house in Bromley. Finally, the team fixed over 250 quest-related issues, while preparing for future updates that will include new NPCs and stories.
