Saturday May 25, 5 films and numerous activities are on the program for the second day of the Gramat Film Festival. From 9 a.m., Ciné-P’tit Dej for young audiences aged 3 and over. At 10 a.m., “Pompon Ours”, film by Matthieu Gaillard (35 minutes), adapted from the character of Benjamin Chaud.

From 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., free access to the cinema room with the screening of award-winning medium-length films at the Brive international medium-length film meetings and cinematographic works produced by the Clément Brouqui school.

At 2 p.m. “Wonka” by Paul King (1:57 a.m.; family session) based on the world of Roal Dahl and prequel to “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. A wonderful story retracing the youth of Willy Wonka. Screening followed by a chocolate tasting event offered by Grégoire Poeuf from Pâtisserie Quercynoise de Gramat.

At 5 p.m., “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” by Chris Columbus (2:32 a.m.; family session). It is the first film adapted from JK Rowling’s novel, from the literary series centered on the character of Harry Potter. All afternoon at the library and at the Micro-Folie, board games and video games, around the world of Harry Potter.

From 9 p.m., “Dune” evening with two films by Denis Villeneuve. At 9 p.m., Dune Part 1 (2:36 a.m.; science fiction) and at midnight, Dune Part 2 (2:46 a.m.; science fiction). Adapted from the novel by Franck Herbert, “Dune” is the story of Paul Atréides, a young man with great talent and an extraordinary destiny.

Numerous activities are offered all day long on the site of the cultural center, cinema and media library, with exhibitions, games, presence of a traveling bookstore, cinematographic techniques workshops, readings for children, etc.

Before or after the films, it will be possible to eat on site with meals prepared by the municipal school catering service. Prices for movie meals (10 a.m. film and meal; 2 p.m. meal and film; 5 p.m. film and meal; 9 p.m. meal and film; reservation required): €10 and €9.5 for under-15s.
