Yesterday evening, during a 3rd league championship match between FC Val-de-Travers and FC Bôle at the La Léchère stadium in Couvet, a dramatic incident disrupted the match. While FC Val-de-Travers led 1-0 in the 37th minute, full-back Sandy Lebet suffered a serious injury during a defensive action.

Emergency services were called immediately and intervened quickly to take care of the player. Following this event, the teams and officials made the decision to interrupt the game, as the players were deeply affected by the situation.

Sandy Lebet was taken to hospital, where he underwent examinations before undergoing successful surgery. FC Val-de-Travers expressed its gratitude to everyone who helped manage this delicate event quickly and professionally.

The club would like to provide its full support to Sandy and wish him a speedy recovery. “We hope to see him recover quickly and are all with him in this ordeal,” said a member of the club’s management.
