A major fire is currently underway this Saturday, October 19, in rue d’Aubagne, in Marseille, BFM Marseille Provence learned from the firefighters.
The fire broke out around 3 p.m., at Halles Lacroix, in a fruit and vegetable grocery store. He left the video surveillance room.
Above the store is an empty building, as it is being renovated. No one was therefore evacuated. Only the grocery store manager suffered a minor hand injury.
Despite the measures deployed on site by the firefighters, the fire is still not under control. Indeed, the fire would be difficult to access, according to them.
“Avoid the area for the most efficient work possible by the firefighters and our teams,” warns the Marseille municipal police on X.
For the moment, the origin of the fire is still unknown, although the possibility of an electrical malfunction is favored.
