A fire broke out in a garage on the Route des Quatre-Vents, in Saint-Germain-du-Puy, this Saturday afternoon, after work on a battery. The fire was quickly brought under control by firefighters.
This Saturday, October 19, around 1:40 p.m., a vehicle caught fire in a car garage on the Route des Quatre-Vents, in Saint-Germain-du-Puy. Although the fire spread to part of the building, including the roof, it was quickly brought under control by the eleven fire engines present on site, including a hose.

“A spark flew when connecting the battery terminal, it hit the booster pump and it deployed,” summarizes a garage employee. “But everything was resolved quickly.”
In addition to the car affected, several vehicles suffered damage at the same time.
