Renault 5 E-Tech: here are the official prices

Announced a while ago, the descendant of the legendary Renault 5 formalizes its entry into the Renault catalog, for May 31. However, orders have already been opened for R5 R Pass skip-the-line holders, who will have until May 30 inclusive, to order the new French car with the privilege of being delivered before the others.

Several versions available at several prices

The new French car will, first of all, be available in several ranges: Urban and Comfort. Urban autonomy promises up to 300 km, with the help of a 40 KWh battery, which we will however only see on the market from 2025, at a price of €25,000, before deduction of the bonus ecological if however the latter is renewed. A very well placed price which allows this R5 to be barely more expensive than a Spring.

On the other hand, in terms of Comfort autonomy, although the latter promises 410 km thanks to its 52 KWh battery, its price is set at €29,490, ecological bonus of €4,000 deducted, for a total of… 33 €490 which still seems much more expensive. It is also this version which will be affected by the opening of orders on May 31.

At the end of May, the R5 E-Tech will therefore be marketed only with Comfort autonomy, in two finishes: Techno and Iconiq Cinq.

By 2025, the rest of the versions will also be offered, such as the Five, Evolution finishes and the Roland-Garros special series.

Comfort autonomy full of new features

The R5 E-Tech, in its Comfort autonomy, and its 52 KWh battery, allowing up to 410 km of autonomy, will therefore be available at the price of €29,490, ecological bonus of €4,000 deducted.

Offered in Iconiq Cinq and Techno finishes, this R5 will have the best that the electric city car offers. For example, we will be entitled to a new 150 hp electric motor, designed for Ampere, which promises 0-100 in less than 8 seconds.

This R5 E-Tech will also be equipped with the new 11 kW AC bidirectional charger allowing V2G services such as “Power to object” and “Mobilize Power”. Speaking of the charger, the R5 E-Tech can charge from 15% to 80% in just 30 minutes, on suitable terminals.

Customizable as desired and 5 colors

From its launch, the R5 E-Tech will be well equipped and customizable. Inside, the Renault 5 will be equipped with the latest generation of the OpenR Link system with integrated Google. We can also find more than 19 L of storage space in the passenger compartment. The R5 also pays homage to French history, with its specific woven wicker basket, to carry your baguette.

On the exterior side, for the launch, you will have the choice between five shades: pop! yellow, pop! green, night blue, pearly white and starry black.

Customers will also be able to personalize the decorations on the roof and the front doors, which will be offered in two versions, each available in two colors: NumbeR5 in red or black and Unlimited 5 in gold and silver.

With more than 104 accessories available, more than 200 combinations will be possible when configuring the new R5 E-Tech in order to best suit customer needs and desires.
