Schoolchildren from the Louis-Pergaud school in Pontorson were to perform on stage with the group NORKitO during the Papillons de nuit music festival in Saint-Laurent-de-Cuves (Manche), this Sunday, May 19, 2024. Despite cancellation of the day’s concerts, they were able to visit the festival site and perform their show on a reduced scale.
It should have been the culmination of five months of work. Sunday May 19, 2024, students from the Louis-Pergaud school in Pontorson (Manche) were scheduled to perform on stage with the group NORKitO during the Papillons de nuit music festival. But the storms of the day before and the mudslides on the site forced the organizers to cancel the concerts on Saturday and Sunday, thus depriving the children of their performance.

Finding a smile again, despite everything
However, the children were finally able to enjoy a VIP visit, discovering the artists’ dressing rooms and the two main stages of the festival.
