Agglo by bike: a day dedicated to gentle mobility in the forest

The mobility and transport service Fougères Agglomération is organizing a special day for bike enthusiasts. Appointment on Saturday May 25from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Chênedet leisure center in Landéan to explore a multitude of activities free.

On site, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

In the afternoon, numerous workshops will be organized. Information on the different mobility options local dishes will be available, as well as the possibility of mixing and then tasting fresh smoothies while pedaling on a Smoothyclette. You can also have fun with a merry-go-round eco-friendly powered by bicycles (from 3 to 9 years old), test your knowledge of Traffic Laws and discuss the road safetyparticipate in an anti-energy waste workshop, challenge yourself in a battle on generator bikes electricity (from 6 years old) or attend the show “The smallest Tour de France in the world” 5 p.m..

Cycling activities

Cycling activities will be varied, led by local associations. On the program, a supervised 6 km course to Chênedet, starting from the Côtterets gymnasium (rue de Viré) with the US Lécousse at 2 p.m. At the same time, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., the Club fougerais de course association will offer a orientation course with QR code tags and Roazhon mobility will offer VAE training. A repair shop will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Finally, a walk suitable for people in disability situation (Hippocampe chair, push bike and tandem) will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., organized by Evasi run and Handibaie.

How to come ?

To get there, free shuttles are made available. Departures are made from the bus station from Fougères to two schedules different :

– First shuttle: departure at 1:15 p.m.expected arrival in Chênedet at 1:30 p.m..

– Second shuttle: departure at 2:30 p.m.expected arrival in Chênedet at 2:45 p.m..

For the return, the shuttle will leave from Chênedet to 6 p.m. to arrive at the Fougères bus station at 6:15 p.m..
