In the morning, Stéphanie Obertin, Minister of Digitalization, delivered the welcome address to the launch event of the Day, namely the Interdisciplinary Forum on Digital Inclusion. This Forum brings together at regular intervals representatives of associations and organizations committed to the digital inclusion of their members. The aim of the Forum is to share everyone’s experiences to find appropriate ways to include each target audience in the digital age.

During her speech, Stéphanie Obertin thanked the participants in this 4th Interdisciplinary Forum for their unwavering commitment. “I am convinced that only a collaborative approach between all of you and between your sectors of activity will allow us to achieve our goals.” She added: “You do essential work on the ground. You are best placed to assess how digital affects your target audience and what needs and expectations these people have in everyday life.”

Stéphanie Obertin also thanked the associations which contributed to the success of the 3rd National Day by organizing various activities for digital inclusion throughout the week across the country. Indeed, from May 13 to 17, a program consisting of workshops, training or conferences focused on digital inclusion was offered to the public in various regions.

In the afternoon, the general public was invited to the Digital Inclusion Fair to meet around thirty companies or public entities who came to present and provide explanations on their digital products.

Citizens were thus able to speak with representatives of the Digital Learning Hub, Guichet.lu, BGL BNP Paribas, CMCM, Payconiq, BeeSecure, Girls in Tech and Luxtrust. Stéphanie Obertin toured the stands to meet the exhibitors and citizens who had come to the Digital Inclusion Show.
