The draw for the 6th round of the Coupe de France took place this Thursday, October 17 at the LFHF headquarters, in Villeneuve-d’Ascq. The Portuguese FC Porto of Amiens was the last club from the metropolis concerned, after its victory at Gouvieux (3-1).
After the defeat on penalties of Longueau (R1) against Longuenesse (R3), the FCPPA is the last club from the Amiens metropolis in the running before the entry of Amiens SC in the next round. Already in contention for three rounds, Porto quietly won against US Chemin des Dames (D3) (5-0) in the 3rd round, before imposing its law in a derby against RC Amiens (R3) (3 -1). Finally, it was Gouvieux (R2) who suffered the same fate during the 5th round, losing 3-1 at home.
Before the 7th round, highly anticipated by those involved, they will face Olympique Maroilles (D1) on October 27, for why not, to have the chance to welcome a Ligue 2 team in the next round.
