D-Day for the thousands of participants in the Grand Raid 2024 edition. The bib collection takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Ravine Blanche.

7,300 runners are involved. Five races in this edition. The delivery of bibs to trail runners takes place at Ravine Blanche.

Under the Saint-Pierre sun, an endless line stretches out. The thousands of people armed with chairs wait with one goal: to win the precious sesame. And many arrived well before to be in the front row “I got up at 4 a.m., got here at 5 a.m.”

The kick-off will be given this Thursday at Ravine Blanche.

The athletes will tackle just over 160 km.

Runners must bring a summons and a valid ID. To collect the bib, the runner must also bring their racing bag with all the mandatory equipment that they will present at the checkpoint.

Each competitor will receive a cap, a T. shirt (+ a tank top for the DDF.) for the race and assistance bags (3 for the Diagonale des Fous, 2 for the Trail de Bourbon and 1 for the Mascareignes). After these obligatory formalities, you will pass, if you wish, in front of the partner stands who will give you nice gifts.

During this pre-race day, bibs will be handed out for all races, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Diagonale des fous: 7:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

Bourbon Trail: 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m.

Mascarenes: 7:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Zembrocal Trail (X4 runners) : 07H30-19H00

Métis Trail: 7:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The organization reminds that no power of attorney to collect a bib will be accepted.
