Constable Mathilde Delboscq (Joyce Bibring) investigates the death of a man, found dead drugged behind the wheel of his burned car. The victim, Pascal Dubreuil (Cyril Lecomte), is an entrepreneur from the region seemingly without any problems: a prosperous company, a successful marriage and two healthy children. However, when the gendarme investigates, she discovers a much less idyllic reality: the family business is on the verge of bankruptcy, Pascal was estranged from his son and had an affair with his assistant.

Very quickly, Mathilde suspects the victim’s wife, Isabelle Dubreuil (Odile Vuillemin), whose coldness challenges her. Digging into her past, she discovers that several of her former companions died in similar circumstances. Is she facing a serial murderer? Carried by the performance of Odile Vuillemin, who embodies this troubled woman with finesse, this thriller makes us doubt until the end.
