The new season of Star Academy is in full swing, and the academicians are already revealing themselves. Among them, Paul, who thrilled the audience during the first prime, touched fans during a moving call to his girlfriend.
The kick-off of the Star Academy 2024 clearly lived up to expectations. This year, the production opted for a fresh look by partially reinventing the teaching team. Among the newcomers: Fanny Delaigue, Sofia Morgavi, Hugues Hamelynck, and Ladji Doucouré. This wind of novelty promises a colorful season. But that’s not all! On the occasion of the first bonus, the 15 new academicians were treated to a star-studded welcome, with the presence of Clara Luciani, godmother of publishing, and prestigious guests like Matt Pokora, Adeline Toniutti, Vincent Niclo, and Pierre Garnier, last year’s big winner. Between strong emotions and small hiccups on stage, this first evening offered the public a real show, which announced an intense and captivating competition.

From the first prime, some candidates immediately stood out. Marguerite, Masséo, Charles and even Maureen, who shocked the public with her poignant tribute to Grégory Lemarchal, set the bar very high. But it was Paul who literally set the stage on fire with an explosive performance to Elton John. Full of energy, he captivated the entire studio 217. Not surprising when you know his musical influences. As he already confided in an interview with France Bleu: “I’m passionate about rock, soul, jazz, blues, but rap is really not my thing”. An assumed style even in his outfits, whatever his detractors may like. And whatever happens, Paul can count on great support during his adventure.

In the daily newspaper of this Tuesday, October 15, while several candidates were busy rehearsing for the next bonus, Paul chose to make a call… to his girlfriend! “Ah hello my island marquee, how are you?”he said in a cheerful voice. And to add: “I’m glad to hear you, my dear. My love, I miss you terribly…”. In the process, the candidate with ever more extravagant outfits did not fail to show all his love to his darling. He recounts his time at the evaluations, on I will love you by Michel Sardou, confident: “I listened to all the songs and when I listened to this one, I saw your face and I cried for thirty minutes… I sing it for you my love!”. A brief phone call but which seems to have done a lot of good for the candidate, who has been somewhat behind since the start of the adventure.
