The opening ceremony of this day, which is placed under the theme “Inaugurate a new industrial era driven towards and by sovereignty, a Royal vision in the service of the citizen and the territories”, is chaired by the Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch, in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Commerce Ryad Mezzour, the president of the CGEM, Chakib Alj, the president of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE), Ahmed Reda Chami and the Wali of the Marrakech-Safi region , Farid Chourak.
This second edition, which brings together ministries, institutions, professional federations and private operators, aims to promote discussions on new issues linked to the development of the industrial sector in order to reach its full potential.
It is also about promoting a strong and resilient national industry, fully exploiting the potential of the regions to create more value and wealth.
On the menu for this 2nd edition are several panels focused on “industrial sovereignty and the potential of the regions”, “the move upmarket of industrial ecosystems”, “new industrial and technological bets”, “the energy transition” and “the innovation and economic competitiveness.
An annual reference meeting for Industry in Morocco, the National Industry Day is a flagship event in the global calendar of economic events, with future editions available in regions, to highlight local industrial potential and address the specific associated issues.
