The E19 motorway towards Mons closed near Roeulx: “six people are injured”

You must once again be patient before taking the E19 this Saturday. An accident involving seven vehicles took place near Ville-sur-Haine around 3:15 p.m. The scale is such that the section was closed to traffic heading towards France. Four ambulances and a SMUR are currently on site to support the drivers.

The E19 motorway is therefore more than ever to be avoided so as not to be forced to get stuck in traffic jams. “Our services are still on site currently. According to initial information, seven vehicles were involved. It ultimately turns out that only two vehicles were involved but many people were injured. Six occupants including two children were affected. However, their lives are not in danger. Four ambulances and a SMUR are on site”, tells us the highway police.

Following the closure of the motorway, users are invited to take the Mons Est exit and then head towards Obourg. The lines are already long at this location. “One vehicle still needs to be evacuated. When this is done, the highway will be able to reopen”, concludes the motorway police. Patience is required.
