After twenty years on the VTM news service, Julie Colpaert has chosen a new challenge. The journalist will become spokesperson for all VTM channels and radio stations Qmusic, Joe and Willy.
On election day, Julie Colpaert was seen on screen one last time. From Wednesday she will work behind the scenes as head of press communications at DPG Media’s TV and radio channels. In this way she draws a line under twenty years of reporting. First as a newsreader at Qmusic, then as a reporter for VTM news. She also presented the program in 2016 Fellow sufferers and was the face of for three years Telefacts. Viewers of The smartest person know her as the first candidate ever to exceed the mythical mark of eleven episodes, in 2018. That year, Colpaert became a losing finalist, after Peter Van de Veire.
