Boussac. A complicated day for footballers

Another mixed weekend for the Essor footballers with first of all the reservists who continued their positive series by bringing back a great victory for the Basin against the local sports youth.

If the score was goalless at the break, the second act saw fireworks from the Violets who scored six times with six different scorers, which put them in second place in the standings. Team 1, for its part, played on Sunday at home against the -Gages association for a bottom-of-the-table meeting. The game started in great style with a first goal scored with a header by Mathis Calmels from a corner. The visitors reacted and scored twice, and a great reaction from the purple allowed them to equalize again through Mathis Calmels with a well-aimed header. The second act offered a very choppy game and the Gageois scored two goals following a lack of defensive rigor from the locals. The reduction in the score from a penalty converted by Romain Bonnefille was not enough and the match ended a little in confusion with a defeat which placed the team at the back of the standings. The reaction is expected this weekend during the long trip to Chastel-Nouvel in Lozère (match Saturday at 7:15 p.m.). The reservists, for their part, will receive Vallon at 3 p.m. at the Member Bridge.
