The Histoire d’Or jewelry store located in the new Neyrpic shopping center, in Saint-Martin-d’Hères, near Grenoble (Isère), was the target of an armed robbery this Saturday evening. The robber exhibited a handgun and got his hands on jewelry before fleeing, specifies a source close to the case, confirming information of Dauphiné. The amount of the loot is not known at this time.
The criminal, hooded and dressed in black, burst into the store around 7 p.m. He threatened the employees with his gun and forced them to open the windows. The attacker stole the cash in addition to the jewelry.
The robbery was partly filmed by a witness who published his images on social networks.
An investigation was opened by the Grenoble public prosecutor’s office. The Neyrpic shopping center opened on October 2.
At the end of August, the Histoire d’Or jewelry store in the Belle Épine shopping center in Thiais, in Val-de-Marne, was robbed by four individuals. The loot was estimated at around 400,000 euros.
