Eleven All Stars 2: Spain takes its revenge on – Eleven All Stars – Spain- (2-0)

Spain 2-0

Buts: Robledo (24e) & DJ Mario (99eSP)

When they arrived in Madrid, the Blues were wary of the refereeing… And they were right!

At the end of a rough evening marked by racist excesses in the stands, which caused an interruption of the match, the French team of content creators (led by Aminematue) lost 2-0 to Spain by DJ Mario during Eleven All Stars 2. A big supporter of Real Madrid, the latter converted a penalty – completely non-existent, despite the intervention of the VAR – at the very end of the match before brandishing his jersey in front of the stands of the Wanda Metropolitano. The high point of an evening which turned into an arbitration fiasco.

Robledo, the hero

As bitter as it was feared, this Spain-France should have given birth to a shower of yellow cards at the start (on both sides). But the match referee lost track from the first minutes, and ultimately only sent off one player (Telmo) at the end of the match. The man in black also stood out by refusing a penalty to the Blues, then trailing 0-1, or by calling offside on a Spanish pass… Frustrating for a French team which generally dominated the debates, without get enough opportunities to convert your mastery. Opposite, Spain relied on an untenable Robledo and author of the opening score with a long shot (1-0, 24e) on this Spanish national holiday.

Two years after the French victory by the same score, at the Jean-Bouin stadium, Spain (which had changed 13 players) has its revenge… while waiting for the good one.
