A week before the Bikini festival, join us for a musical stroll through the streets of Toulouse during the Warm-Up of the Weekend of Curiosities on May 25.
Curious, curious, block out your day & evening on Saturday May 25, the Warm-Up of the Weekend of Curiosities is arriving throughout Toulouse to vibrate to the rhythm of the festival a few days before. From morning to evening, head to different locations in the Pink City for free events in honor of the festival.
This day of Saturday May 25 will take place as follows:
COLLECTIVE RUN / 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Bistro-bar Les Tilleuls
To get warmed up, the festival is planning a group run with the Garun collective, the departure and arrival will be at the Les Tilleuls bistro (Marengo district). Everyone is welcome, no matter the level!
DJ SET / 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Neiwa & Specimn
We continue with DJ sets in 2 partner stores of the festival: Neiwa & Specimn! We will find Eddy Gailhard at Neiwa with an Afro, disco, funk DJ set, putting groove in the spotlight, and the collective & web radio Egregore at Specimn with a set mixing electronic culture and hip-hop.
RUGBY / 3:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
No defined location, everyone can experience their match as they wish!
We take a break to encourage our reds and blacks in the European Cup final, before playing the 3rd half all together!
LIVE & DJ SET / 7:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. at Bistrot 12
We end this beautiful Warm-Up day of the Weekend of Curiosities with an evening at Bistrot 12 in the Saint-Cyprien district. To begin with, we will find the Toulouse rapper Mac Amish, who skillfully mixes rap, r&b soul and pop. Next, the Curio team will take the decks to start the evening then we will find the Lyon DJ Bernadette for an energetic set between Break, House, electro and Rave. She has been a resident at Sucre in Lyon for some time and founded the collective “Move ur Gambettes”.
The Weekend of Curiosities festival will take place the following weekend from May 31 to June 2 at Bikini with 3 stages (including 2 exteriors), more than 30 scheduled artists, stands and activities all weekend.
