Like last May, the Northern Lights can be seen on clear days at the moment. During the night of Thursday October 10 to Friday October 11, amateur photographer Maxime Huguet from Basel went to take a few photos in the salt marshes of Batz-sur-Mer.

The Baulois Maxime Huguet is crazy about photography but also about meteorological phenomena. Thunderstorms and the Northern Lights are events he never misses. The last photos were taken around 11 p.m. Thursday October 10 near Batz-sur-Mer. The risk of the Northern Lights continues overnight, but increasing cloudiness and early work tomorrow morning have forced me to return. On the way there and back, I was able to meet two people who had the same idea as me: capturing the Northern Lights.
Maxime Huguet had already taken magnificent photos of the Northern Lights in spring. This time, it was lower than the night of May 12-13.
A good connoisseur of the weather, the Baulois predicts: Next night, the risk is present but the sky will unfortunately be overcast. The sun’s activity is strong at the moment, new episodes may occur in the weeks to come.
