The murder of Claudia Iacono has created a real earthquake in the world of the mafia, and even resonates as far as Italy, according to Félix Séguin, host of JE, who is there precisely for the filming of a future program.

“We wake up this morning and all the people who accompany us, including journalists specializing in business this morning, wake us up with this thunderclap: the assassination of a woman”, underlines Félix Séguin.
Claudia Iacono, spouse of one of Moreno Gallo’s sons, is the most recent victim of the Montreal Mafia’s turf wars.
“This violation of the code of honor, we found that she had started to operate, except that here, she is a 39-year-old woman, and according to the experts, we did not know her enemies”, explains Felix Séguin.
He also confides that it is unlikely that this assassination is a mistake on the person.
“She was followed for long minutes before her assassination, she was indeed the person targeted,” he says.
According to Félix Séguin, the authorities are awaiting replies and the consequences of the assassination attempt on Leonardo Rizzuto on March 15.
However, he believes that it is still too early to link the murder of Claudia Iacono to this movement.
“But there is something happening in Montreal, that’s for sure,” he says.
Some aftershocks could still occur this summer in the metropolis. The mafia community is very attentive to the next steps of several important players.
