The investigation into Émile’s death continues and investigators are focusing on a DNA trace that does not belong to the little boy’s family.
A new twist in the affair? The investigation into Émile, this little boy who disappeared in the summer of 2023, and whose body was found at the end of last March, continues. Investigators are now looking into conclusions delivered by the Bordeaux forensic hematology laboratory, and DNA catches their attention, according to information from BFM YOU SAY.
An important job
“The work on the clothing turns out to be important. It is important for the investigation and biology”indicated a source close to the matter. And “DNA foreign to that of Émile’s family was discovered during these analyses”reports the news channel.
However, the prosecution does not wish to communicate “on all investigative acts”. Jean-Luc Blachon, public prosecutor of Aix-en-Provence does not want “neither confirm nor deny”while advancing the “compliance with instructions”.
The analyzes were carried out by the Bordeaux forensic hematology laboratory on the clothes of the little boy who was found dead in the hamlet of Haut-Vernet. However, General François Daoust, former director of the National Gendarmerie Research Institute (IRCGN), is suspicious.
“If DNA is found, is it in a significant quantity or is there one or two cells? If it is in a significant quantity, it is because we have a strong action from the person who deposited the DNA. DNA. Some cells, on the other hand, can be a transfer. So you have to be very careful because DNA is very volatile.”he explains, to the television channel.
“Be careful of correlations which are abusive and which are not certain. We must avoid casting shame on someone or creating a situation which could be complicated locally”says the Marseille research section.
A laboratory requested by the gendarmerie
The laboratory of Professor Christian Doutremepuich, created 25 years ago and a reference in cold cases, was contacted at the end of June 2024 to carry out additional analyses, after the first expertise of the Criminal Research Institute of the police.
The IRCGN had analyzed several elements, such as the earth and plants, which could explain what happened between July 8, 2023, when little Emile vanished and the discovery of the bones last March.
