Arcelor Mittal and Musée des Abénakis nominated for the CPQ Prosperous Prize

(STM Team, October 8, 2024) – The ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada factory in Contrecoeur and the Musée des Abénakis in Odanak are finalists for the Prospère Awards from the Conseil du patronat du Québec (CPQ).

At the end of a jury deliberation process, the finalists were selected according to the different Prize categories. “Each year, it gives me great pleasure to highlight, through our gala, the achievements of companies that have stood out in several areas. The partners of our event also join me to celebrate the finalists who make Quebec proud,” rejoices Karl Blackburn, President and CEO of the CPQ.

Thus, the ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada plant is a finalist in two different categories, namely the PROSPERE Innovative Employer category and the PROSPERE Exceptional Employer category.

As for the Musée des Abénakis, it finds itself a finalist in the PROSPEROUS Indigenous Employer category.

The big winners will be announced during the Prospérité Québec Gala on November 7.
