14-year-old hitman in Marseille. The DZ Mafia denies being involved in a lunar video

On the night of October 3 to 4, 2024 in Marseille, a VTC driver was shot in the head by a 14-year-old hitman. The victim had no connection with possible drug trafficking.

A murder had been ordered from prison by an inmate claiming to be DZ Mafiaone of the gangs seeking a monopoly on trafficking in the Marseille city. On social networks, a video, unidentified at this time, however features a formal denial of the mafia organization.

“False information about last Friday’s murder has been circulating in the media and on social networks for several days.” These are the first words we hear in this video, broadcast on the internet this October 9.

The “spokesperson”, surrounded by around ten hooded people dressed in black, continues.

Today’s press release is made with the intention of reestablishing the truth. First of all, we send all our sincere condolences to the family of the deceased, wishing them strength and courage in their ordeals (…) The DZ Mafia is not involved, neither closely nor remotely, with what it happened.

The detainee is said to be a “mythomaniac”

“Our name is used by many malicious people,” we still hear in this video. They also explain that the detainee claiming to be from the DZ Mafia would be a “mythomaniac”. The modus operandi “does not correspond in any way”, from “the 14 year old child” to “the use of a VTC to commit a crime”.

Before concluding: “This has nothing to do with our methods: we have enough men and vehicles and means to act. We hope that the truth will be restored. Signed, DZ Mafia.”

Contacted, the police confirmed to us that the video will be authenticated and that the prosecution will quickly look into the subject.
