Two police officers were shot and injured on Thursday May 9, 2024, at the police station in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. Police intervention for an “extremely violent” attack
Thursday evening, the police were called for an “extremely violent attack, committed with a cutter” against a woman, details the prefect, specifying that “the victim emerged seriously injured without his vital prognosis having been engaged”.

Three open investigations

Finally, the prefect mentioned the opening of a third investigation by the IGPN, the police force, for use of weapons by civil servants.
Concerning the author of the shots against the police officers, Laurent Nuñez indicates that for the moment “we do not know much” about his profile. It is also unknown whether he knew the woman he slashed with a box cutter.
