Six people were injured in a car rollover near Sharbot Lake, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Authorities fear for the lives of two of the six injured.
Among the four other injured, three are in critical condition and one person is in serious condition, according to Constable Rob Martell of the Frontenac detachment of the PPO.
The single-vehicle collision occurred shortly after 12 p.m. Thursday on Burke Settlement Road north of the community. Sharbot Lake is located approximately 120 kilometers southwest of Ottawa.
The six people injured in the collision were transported to hospitals in Kingston and Perth, as well as the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in Ottawa. One of them was even transported by plane.
There PPO has not yet released the ages of the injured.
Collision reconstruction specialists were still on scene as of mid-afternoon.
